The HHSC Oahu Region has a long history of collaboration with other community organizations in its efforts to improve the quality of life for its residents, participants, patients and their families and caregivers. It has done this primarily in two ways: (1) Establishing relationships with outside organizations to improve clinical services or to provide increased convenience and access to other needed services; and (2) Providing a long-term care training practicum for health care professionals.
