Visiting Hours – Leahi Hospital does not have set visiting hours and encourages family-centered healing allowing family members and guests to stay as long as the family and patient fell it is necessary.

Daily Newspapers – The Honolulu Star-Advertiser may be purchased from a vending machine located just outside of the front lobby area. Families are welcome to purchase a newspaper subscription for the resident as well. The facility does provide a limited number of copies for each nursing unit; however, accessibility to the newspapers is on a first come first served basis.

Flower Delivery – Local flower shops provide delivery to the resident directly as indicated/specified by the loved one at the time of purchase.

Internet Access – Wireless internet access (wifi) is provided by the facility. Please check with the Admissions or Information Technology Department for more details regarding availability and access.

Notary Public – Notary Public is provided through arrangements with the Leahi Hospital Social Services Department. NOTE: Notary Public services are for the sole purpose of assisting families with ADVANCE DIRECTIVES only.

Mail and E-Mail – The Nursing Unit staff picks up and delivers mail to residents daily. On occasion, mail maybe handled by Social Services, depending on the nature of the material as it applies to the residents healthcare benefits coverage and/or other healthcare related information. Emails to residents can also be sent to the RT Department’s email account: leahiRT@hhsc.org. Please indicate the full name of resident to whom the email is addressed to and identify the name of the floor or unit that she or he has been assigned to.

Chapel – Leahi Hospital does not have a chapel located on campus. However, a variety of religious services are provided by the facility on a monthly basis through the RT Department’s calendar of activities. Residents are welcome to attend the service(s) of choice at the scheduled time and date. Personal visits from religious organizations are also welcomed at the request of the resident or resident family.

Cafeteria – The current Cafeteria services are limited to resident meal preparation and delivery only. Several vending machines are located on the first floor of the Young Building
